The SUJÁN Riding Boot is the second style in our conservation collaboration with Penelope Chilvers. The boot is an equestrian style, cut close to the leg, with an elegant silhouette and a grip rubber sole, making it the perfect boot to wear when riding through the spellbinding Jawai wilderness. Anjali shared her design process of SUJÁN JAWAI camp, her use of colour and textiles that she incorporated into the interiors and experience with Penelope. It was clear to them both that the vibrant scarlet red seen on the turbans of the local Rabari tribe that roam the Jawai wilderness we have been protecting for leopards for the past decade would be the perfect starting point. Penelope used this red as the focal point for the boot design, to create a boot that could accompany our guests as they safari with us on horseback through the magical Jawai landscape. This timeless boot is perfect for riding adventures in the wild or days in the city thanks to its elevated and sleek design. Once again each boot is handcrafted by Spanish artisans in sustainably sourced leather.
